A mobile app using AI to help people with early-stage dementia capture and explore nostalgic memories — built on Dr Christopher's research with Swansea University, and an Alzheimer's Society LaunchPad alum.
The challenge
People with early-stage dementia — and those who care for them — need gentle, accessible ways to hold on to and revisit the nostalgic memories that matter most.
Our approach
Working with Swansea University and Dr Gary Christopher's research into healthy ageing, we built a mobile app that uses AI to help capture and explore memories, delivering reminiscence therapy in an everyday, approachable form.
The outcome
The team completed the prestigious Alzheimer's Society LaunchPad accelerator, and the app is moving into testing with patients.
